The Hawkins ranger of domestic battery chargers is intended to meet market requirements for low cost automotive battery chargers.
These units are made from high quality materials and components to comply with IEC 335-2-29 standards on performance, safety and electro-magnetic interference.
They are designed for flooded lead acid automotive batteries.
The Power 4 is a charger that delivers its rated current at the outsetAnd then tapers slowly down as the battery resistance rises.
It will continue to trickle charge past the nominal 13.8 volts of the fully charged battery and, in common with all taper chargers, must be monitored periodically.
